libsimage20 software package provides generic interface to various image file format libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsimage20
libsimage20 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsimage20 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsimage20 *
You will get with libsimage20 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
